Skyport Tycoon
Skyport Tycoon scratches the classic management itch: start with a runway and a shed, end with a sprawling airport that runs like clockwork. You lay out gates, hire crews, and juggle schedules, and the satisfaction comes from watching a mess slowly turn into an efficient machine.
The early game is the best part, when every decision matters and money is tight. Later on it opens up and gets a little easy, but there's always another layout to optimize or a bottleneck to solve. We lost a whole evening rearranging taxiways for no real reason except that it felt good.
It's not the deepest sim out there, and it leans on some familiar mechanics, but the loop is clean and the interface is friendly on a small screen. A good one to chip away at over weeks.
What we liked
- Satisfying build-and-optimize loop
- Friendly interface for small screens
- Great slow-burn progression
